What if I lose the key fob?

Call Service immediately. Replacement keys for exotics range $1,500–$8,000 and require dealer programming. The lost-key fee comes out of the responsible member.

Call RYDA Service as soon as you realize the key is missing. We'll dispatch a spare via secured courier so you can complete or end your booking. If the vehicle is in a public location, we'll arrange retrieval first.

Replacement cost

Exotic key fobs are expensive and have to be programmed by the manufacturer dealer:

Ferrari: $2,500–$4,000 per fob plus dealer programming.
Lamborghini: $1,500–$3,000.
McLaren: $2,000–$4,000.
Rolls-Royce: $3,000–$8,000 depending on model and trim.
Aston Martin: $1,500–$3,500.

Who pays

The member responsible for the loss covers the replacement cost. We charge it via your default payment method. If you find the key after we've ordered the replacement, you keep the spare set, most members appreciate having one for future bookings.

Trick that helps: most fobs have a tile/airtag-style tracker compatibility. We'll happily attach an AirTag or Tile to any fob you're using on a long booking.
