Can I park it at an airport or hotel valet?
Indoor airport parking is fine. Hotel valet is fine for nice hotels. Off-airport surface lots and standard hotel self-park are not allowed under the policy.
Airports
Indoor (covered, secured) airport parking is allowed. Most major airports offer it, MIA Premium Parking, LAX Premier, JFK Premium Parking. Off-airport surface lots are not permitted because they lack security and weather protection.
Hotels and restaurants
- Hotel valet at four- or five-star hotels: yes, fine.
- Restaurant valet at established venues: yes, fine.
- Hotel self-park garages: depends on the facility. Indoor and secured = yes; outdoor = no.
- Street parking: short-term only, monitored, in safe areas. Overnight street parking is not allowed under the policy.
What if something happens to it in valet
Valet damage is covered by the venue's garage-keepers liability first, then by the RYDA insurance policy as backup. Photograph the vehicle's condition both at handover to valet and at retrieval, it makes any claim 10× easier.
