Closing my account

If you hold no co-ownership shares: instant. If you hold shares: transfer them to other verified members first, then close. Settlement of any open obligations happens at closure.

If you hold no shares

Email hello@ryda.pro or use the close-account flow in your dashboard. We deactivate the account, cancel any auto-renewals, and email a final account statement. Membership data is retained per our privacy policy retention schedule.

If you hold one or more shares

You'll need to transfer your shares to other verified members before closing. The process:

  • Signal your intent to transfer through your dashboard. Typical resolution: 30–90 days depending on vehicle and price.
  • If no member is interested at your price, you can lower it, hold and wait, or, in some cases, RYDA may help facilitate a transfer to a member on the waitlist.

Once shares are sold and proceeds settled, we close the account on request. Outstanding management fees, mileage overages, or deductibles are settled from sale proceeds.
